There will be free heritage bus services EVERY 1st
Sunday of the month throughout the year.
Sun June 29th ST HELENS TROLLEY BUS DAY
This is the 50th anniversary of the closure of the St Helens
trolley bus system. St Helens vintage buses will be
travelling the Prescot and Rainhill circular routes with a
very special guest appearance of the
St Helens trolley bus
no.387 returning to the museum for the first time in 40
years. Trade stalls will be located in the museum with
refreshments available. Museum open from 11.00 until 16.00.
Sun September 21st SPECIAL WORKSHOP OPEN DAY
The museum workshop will be open for one day only. Come and
have a look what goes on 'behind the scenes' and view
the vehicles in various stages of restoration. Come and
chat with the volunteers of the museum and see what is
undertaken in returning these classic vehicles to the road
again. Museum open from 11.00 until 16.00.
Sun November 2nd NOCTURNAL RUNNING EVENT
Come
down and revisit the nostalgia of our vehicles running into
the evening recreating the ‘late’ buses of old. Free vintage
buses will be operating from midday onwards. The museum
will be open from 12.00 until ‘The last bus runs in’ at
18.00.
December 13th / 14th & 20th / 21st SANTA SPECIALS
Come and visit Santa in his bus grotto and ride on
the Santa Special bus. This event is very popular and
booking is essential, we will advise when bookings are to be
taken.
There will also be some Car Club Events we will post the
dates when arranged

Drinks & Snack Machines are available inside the Museum.
Admission Charges.
Adult £3.50, Concession £2.00,
Child £2.00, Family Ticket £10.00 (compromising of 2 adults and
up to 3 children). Discount available for groups of 10 or
more.

We are situated in St Helens
Town Centre, 200 yards from the bus and rail stations. To find
us by car follow the signs for St Helens Town Centre then for
the railway station.
